I’ve been into video filming and editing lately and was just curious if this camera was good over all. Does it have a good picture and audio recording? On the audio can you hear the motor running in the camera? Basically just all the pro’s and con’s. Reasons to buy or not to buy it please.

I am using the DV firewire cable (4-pin), but the computer wont recognise the camera. I am plugging the cable in at the front of my computer, should use a port at the back? Is there a certain port? Thanks.
No matter if I transfer to PC, or connect to TV, anything bigger than a 2×4 inch picture or so becomes very poor. I feel it must be a setting or so?
My church has upgraded to new cameras with Canon XHA1 HDV Camcorders.
And they recorded one event with it with a mini dv tape, and I’m trying to help find a DV firewire cable for it.
Does this camcorder come with a DV Firewire? Or would I have to get it from Canon?
I have windows movie maker on my laptop, and have plugged in the dv camera. I can use a tape or a multimedia card, and Im using a tape, trying to get the video on the computer for editing and such.
But the computer wont recognize it when I plug it in.
Anyone know something I dont?
